Charles Bradley‘s Changes is out April 1 via Daptone (pre-order yours) and he’s just shared a second song off the LP. “Change for the World” is a impassioned plea for everyone to “change our love.” Says Bradley:

This world is in turmoil–guns, violence–people are feeling like they have no way out. Young people don’t know which way to turn. This song is about opening up our minds to understand–talk with the young people, hear what they have to say. We’ve got to change for the better of our souls. We’ve got to change our love. Get back to the golden rule and people’s sense of humanity.

It’s another knockout vocal from Bradley and the production on the song puts a dub spin on the signature Daptone soul which works great. It’s a terrific song and you can listen below.

Bradley’s NYC record release show is coming up — April 23 at Beacon Theatre — and tickets are still available. That’s also the kickoff of his North American tour. All dates are listed below.
