Cheatahs made a video for "Signs for Lorelei," playing lots of CMJ shows

Cheatahs have made a video for “Signs to Lorelei,” the new single from the band’s forthcoming second album, Mythologies. The video was directed by Cherise Payne (FKA Twigs, The Horrors) and was shot mostly underwater, which fits the song’s warped, warbled vibe. The new album is more shimmery dreampop than the pedal-stomping fuzz of Cheatahs’ first album. The video premieres in this post and you can watch it below.

As mentioned, Cheatahs will be in NYC next week for CMJ, playing a whole bunch of shows:

As for the 10/14 show at Silent Barn, which is a Wichita Records 15th anniversary party, the venue (which had a fire last month) is saying it expects to be open by CMJ, but you might want to visit their facebook before venturing out. Cheatahs are playing a few other North American shows while over here, and all dates are listed below.
