Chelsea Wolfe cancels Australian tour following sexual misconduct allegations against booker

Last week, Sleep cancelled their Australia/New Zealand tour after the tour’s promoter, Dave Cutbush, was accused of sexual misconduct. (Cutbush has since been removed from his company, Life Is Noise.) One of the other artists with an upcoming Australian tour booked by Cutbush is Chelsea Wolfe, who had been urged on social media by some fans to reconsider working with Life Is Noise. She has now officially cancelled her tour as well. She writes:

It came to light that the promoter of our Australia and New Zealand tour Dave Cutbush has been accused of sexual misconduct. Under these circumstances we don’t feel it would be right to continue working with him, so we are canceling our Aus/NZ March 2018 tour. I’ve dealt with my own share of bullshit from men in this industry and beyond so I know what it’s like, and I’m glad that people are speaking out about their experiences in order to create a better atmosphere for all. I hope to reschedule this tour as soon as possible. Much love and many thanks for understanding.

Australian and New Zealand fans, stay tuned for the potential new dates. Meanwhile, Chelsea will be touring North America with Ministry in 2018.
