« Amon Tobin update: now playing two nights at the Congress | Green Music Fest 2012 - (Dinosaur Jr., The Raveonettes) »

As announced earlier this week on BrooklynVegan, T-Mobile, in celebration of their partnership with Google Music Magnified Artists Program, have announced their "Living the 4G Life Photo Contest" at Facebook. They write:
We've all got that photo, the shot that captured a concert or festival moment perfectly. Your friend on your shoulders, the crowd surfing, 20,000 people singing together with their hands in the air. Well, that photo could see you traveling to this year's hottest music festival in Coachella Valley on our dime. The contest is now open and runs through 11:59:59 pm ET on 3/18/12. More details with instructions on how to submit your photos at T-Mobile's Facebook. The Prize:
One winner, with a guest of their choice, will be provided with festival tickets, round-trip travel, hotel accommodations and a $500 VISA gift card. The winner will also receive a brand new 4G smartphone with a year of free service, so they can capture and share photos of the festival's best moments in style.
What does BrooklynVegan have to do with this? Well, in addition to being a site that appreciates good concert photography (and chances to win free tickets to music festivals), a BrooklynVegan photographer will also be one of the judges of this contest. Stay tuned for more on that, and good luck!
