Superchrist @ Red Line Tap

Chicago beer-metallers Superchrist joined Speedwolf, Lurking Corpses & Nekrofilth for a show at Red Line Tap on April 6th, part of a string of dates for Speedwolf that included stops at a BV show during SXSW and an NYC show. Carmelo commented that Speedwolf's was the "rowdiest set of the night with lots of moshing and crowdsurfing, most especially during the Thin Lizzy cover of "The Rocker" and "Denver 666." Pictures from the Chicago show adorn this post.
Dawnbringer, who recently posted a new song at Pitchfork, will welcome the Into The Lair Of The Sun God LP via Profound Lore on May 29th.
Superchrist features members of Dawnbringer, and the band welcomed another member in Scott Hoffman who provided an assist on the cover of the Iron Maiden classic "The Trooper". As discussed on BV, Superchrist are welcoming their new LP Holy Shit this May via Hell's Headbangers and you can stream "Take Me To The Graveyard" from that release, with the pics, below...
