The Shams Band @ Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Fest (more by James Richards IV)

Earlier this year, Chicago's The Shams Band hit the studio to track their forthcoming, sophomore LP. Instead of "taking the easy way out and launching a Kickstarter campaign," said frontman Donnie Biggins, they'll play a fundraising show at Subterranean on Thursday, May 10 to help them foot the bill for pressing vinyl. Dastardly and The Dirty Feathers will act as main support, and advance tickets are on sale.
