Tom Morello is playing two shows this week, one is a NATO protest @ Daley Plaza

As mentioned, Tom Morello and others will honor Woody Guthrie with a concert at Metro this Saturday (May 19). Non-profit arts organization portoluz planned the show to take place during the 2012 NATO Summit, happening in Chicago on May 20 & 21, "in order to celebrate the joyful expression of protest as voiced through the power of participatory culture." Tickets are still available.

Morello will also be performing at a National Nurses United rally in Daley Plaza on Friday (May 18). The rally goes from noon-2PM and Morello will play a half-hour set at the tail end.
