Blues Fest is underway; Ribfest tonight; Lit Fest tomorrow

Chicago Blues Fest 2012 kicked off at 11AM today in Grant Park. The festival spans the entire weekend, ending on Sunday at 9PM with a headlining set from Mavis Staples. Check out the full schedule HERE.

Ribfest also begins today at 5PM on North Lincoln Ave in North Center. Tonight's music lineup includes J. Roddy Walston & the Business and The Spinto Band. Megafaun, Heartless Bastards, Gold Motel, and more are set to perform throughout the weekend. The full music lineup can be found HERE.

In other fest news, Printers Row Lit Fest is happening on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are required for all indoor events though everything is free (they ensure you get a seat). Scope the full schedule of events HERE.
