Chicago Mad Decent Block Party shut down early

Though in Brooklyn it was due to the weather, like its NYC counterpart, Chicago's Mad Decent Block Party was just shut down early. Mad Decent tweeted: "sorry chicago but the Block Party has been SHUT DOWN. It's over. Music is not coming back on. Please exit peacefully." AND "Chicago - The event was at capacity. People began gate crashing. Out of consideration for everyone's safety it was decided to shut the event down." About an hour earlier they warned, "Chicago Alert! The Mad Decent Block Party has reached capacity - turn back if you're not already there." I guess everyone didn't get the message!

What a shame - a bunch of 19 year old swagsters will have to go to elsewhere to listen to dubstep and post ironic non sequiturs to twitter.
