Florida's Levek are set to release their debut LP, Look a Little Closer, on September 25 via Lefse. You can download the album track "French Lessons" at the top of this post and stream another called "Black Mold Grow" below. Preorder the LP via Lefse's webstore.

The group have a short fall US tour schedule ahead of them. That tour includes a Chicago show at the Empty Bottle on October 24. Support is TBA, and advance tickets are on sale.

Being a bit older and out of the indie scene for quite awhile (and living in the north suburbs), I dont get to Chicago much anymore. But back in the 90's, my friends and I regularly went to the Empty Bottle at least every other weekend for great music and great drink prices. Bands like Shiner from Kansas City, Houston from Minneapolis... Bands I still listen to regularly today that I probably would have never heard...
