Prince polished off his third of three Chicago shows at the United Center on Wednesday night (9/26), bringing a close to his Welcome 2 Chicago residency. Unlike his controversial opening show at the venue, both Tuesday night (9/25) and last night's performances went off without a hitch. After Janelle Monae got the crowd warmed up, Prince kicked off his headlining set with "Controversy," the title track of his 1981 album. The 23-song set, complete with two encores, included "Let's Go Crazy," "Little Red Corvette," a cover of Sly & The Family Stone's "Everyday People," and of course "Purple Rain."

Did you attend any one of the three shows? How about a "Purple After Jam" aftershow at the House of Blues? What did you think?

The setlist from Prince's Wednesday night (9/26) performance at the United Center, and a video of him performing "Purple Rain" are below...

What's been going on with the after shows? Has Prince actually played any of them?

^ From what I read, he was there all three nights but only actually played the last two. The CoS review for Tuesday's show has a bit about the aftershow.
