Freakwater are on tour, playing the Hideout next week with Nora O'Connor

Alt-country outfit Freakwater embarked on their first US tour "in many moons" last week. That tour visits Brooklyn, NY tonight (1/15), and will make its way to Chicago for a performance at the Hideout on January 21. Nora O'Connor will act as main support for the Chicago show, and advance tickets are still available.

Freakwater's latest album, Thinking of You, hit stores in 2005 via longtime label Thrill Jockey. Freakwater's Catherine Irwin welcomed an album of her own, titled Little Heater, via the label in 2012.
