Brooklyn via Chicago drone duo Mountains are set to welcome their new album, Centralia, on January 22 via Thrill Jockey. Centralia is their third album to be released via the Chicago label, and you can download its lead single "Living Lens" at the top of this post. A music video for "Living Lens" can be found at the bottom of this post.

Mountains will be going on a US tour in February in support of their forthcoming LP. That tour includes a performance at the Hideout on February 27 with support from White/Light with Frank Rosaly and Lucky Dragons. Advance tickets for the Chicago show are on sale now. All tour dates are listed below.

Dutch baroque pop artist Jacco Gardner is set to release his debut LP, Cabinet of Curiosities, on February 12 via Trouble in Mind. Download the album track "The Ballad of Little Jane" at the top of this post. You can also stream "Where Will You Go" and "Summer's Game" from the album, below.

Jacco Gardner and his band will be going on a US tour in March. That tour, which is centered around SXSW, will reach Chicago on March 19 for a performance at the Empty Bottle. Advance tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

The group will be supporting that album with a spring North American tour, which hits Chicago on March 29 for a performance at the Empty Bottle with CAVE. Copenhagen's Iceage are set to welcome their second album, You're Nothing, on February 19 via Matador Records. You can download the album's lead single "Coalition" above, and/or stream the track at the bottom of this post.

The punk crew have revealed a large tour in support of You're Nothing, which kicks off later this month. That tour will reach Chicago on April 10 for a performance at the Empty Bottle with Final Grin. Ticketing information for that show is forthcoming, but check Ticketweb for updates.

Folk troubadour Simon Joyner is currently on tour throughout the US in support of his most recent album, a double LP called Ghosts. Ghosts is the Omaha singer-songwriter's first new material since 2009's Out Into The Snow, and you can grab the album tracks "If I Left Tomorrow" and "The Last Parade" above. Take a listen to the LP in its entirety at the bottom of this post. As part of Joyner's current tour, he'll hit Chicago this Sunday (11/18) for a show at the Empty Bottle with John Bellows and Circuit des Yeux. DOWNLOAD: Mister Lies - "Align" (MP3)

Mister Lies (aka Nick Zanca) finally has some details to share regarding his debut full-length album. It's titled Mowgli, after his apparent obsession with The Jungle Book (who DOESN'T like The Jungle Book?), and is due out on February 26 via Lefse Records. He's just shared the album's lead single, "Align," which you can download at the top of this post and/or stream below. At its center, "Align" has this roving bass line and is far more agressive than anything we've heard from the beatmaker. In this case, change is quite nice, and we might expect more like it to appear on the album. Chicago seems to be rubbing off on him just fine, with the clearly-stated influence of house. Sample "Align" for yourself at the bottom of this post, and stay tuned for an LP preorder via Lefse. His "Dionysian" 7" is still available for purchase.

UPDATE: You can also scope Mowgli's tracklist below, which includes a song called "Hounded," that features vocals from Exitmusic's Aleksa Palladino.

Chicago three-piece Arbogast are gearing up to welcome their beast of a debut LP on November 20 via Nefarious Industries. The self-titled album packs a heavy punch with pummeling drums, gang vocals, searing guitar tones, and much more. Influential math rock crew Don Caballero have announced that they'll be releasing a live LP, dubbed Gang Banged With A Headache, And Live, on November 27 via Joyful Noise. The album was recorded at a 2003 Chicago show, and features 10-tracks. At the time of this show, Don Cab's lineup consisted of members of Pittsburgh's Creta Bourzia-- Gene Doyle, Jeff Ellsworth, and Jason Jouver-- with Damon Che. You can download "Fire Back About Your New Baby's Sex," which is also the opener of their 2000 LP American Don, at the top of this post and/or stream it below. The live LP is up for preorder via Joyful Noise.

Interpol's Paul Banks, who has released music under the moniker Julian Plenti in the past, is set to welcome his first solo album under his own name, titled simply Banks, on October 23 via Matador. You can download the album's lead single "The Base" at the top of this post and/or stream it via a widget below. Preorder the LP via Matador.

Paul is set to head out on a 2012 // 2013 tour in support of Banks next month. That tour includes a Chicago show at Subterranean on November 7 with The Neighbourhood. Tickets go on sale this Saturday (10/13) at 10AM CST.

In related news, Interpol recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut LP, Turn on the Bright Lights. Matador are putting out a deluxe anniversary edition of the album on November 19, and the package is up for preorder now.
