Bleeding Rainbow @ Knitting Factory, 2012 (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Philly outfit Bleeding Rainbow are slated to welcome their new album, Interrupt, on February 25 via Kanine Records. They've previously shared the great LP singles "So You Know" and "Images," and have now dropped off a joyous, garage-pop tune called "Tell Me" (via This is Fake DIY). Get a feel for the album by checking out the trio of singles at the bottom of this post. Interrupt is up for preorder via Kanine's webstore.
BR will be embarking on a winter North American tour with New York's Hunters later this week. That tour will tag Chicago for an Animal Kingdom-presented show at Emporium Arcade Bar on February 20 with The Funs, Earrings, and The Lemons. You'll get a free shot if you purchase advance tickets.

Bleeding Rainbow @ the Empty Bottle, November 2012 (more by Jimmy Farabi)
Philly-based noisepop outfit Bleeding Rainbow entered hometown studio Fancy Time in June to track their fourth album. It was recorded by Kyle "Slick" Johnson (Modest Mouse, Wavves, Cymbals Eat Guitars) and should be due out soon. Their forthcoming record will serve as the follow-up to Yeah Right, which hit stores in January via Kanine Records. Last week, BR played a great new track called "Start Again" at Brooklyn's Death by Audio and you can check out some video footage at the bottom of this post. No word on if the song will appear on their new album.
Bleeding Rainbow will be embarking on a fall North American tour later this week. That tour includes a performance at DIY spot Animal Kingdom on August 29 with Heavy Times (who they also play a couple of other upcoming Midwest shows with), The Sueves, Ne-Hi, and The Lemons. $5 will get you in and the show starts at 9PM.

On Wednesday night (11/14) East Coast noise rockers A Place to Bury Strangers visited Chicago with tourmates Bleeding Rainbow for a performance at the Empty Bottle. That show was part of a larger North American tour, which is wrapping up in Boston tonight (Monday, November 19). NYC noise rockers A Place to Bury Strangers are currently on tour in support of their third full-length LP, Worship, which hit stores in June via Dead Oceans. As mentioned, they'll visit Chicago this Wednesday (11/14) for a performance at the Empty Bottle with Bleeding Rainbow and DJ Peroxide. Advance tickets for that show are still available, and we've also got a pair to give away (earplugs not included)! Details on how to enter to win can be found at the bottom of this post. For those of you who already bought tickets, you've been entered to win an APTBS prize package from Dead Oceans. That package consists of a copy of Worship, an And I'm Up 7", and a tour poster.

Brooklyn noise rockers A Place to Bury Strangers are currently on tour in Europe in support of their most recent release, Worship, which hit stores in June via Dead Oceans. They'll return stateside in October, and are slated to begin a North American tour with Bleeding Rainbow at the end of the month. That tour includes a Chicago show at the Empty Bottle on November 14. Tickets are not on sale yet, but check Ticketweb for updates.

Virginia's Eternal Summers are set to welcome their new album, Correct Behavior, on July 24 via Kanine Records. You may have already heard the album track "Millions" and you can now check out another called "You Kill," which Rolling Stone premiered this morning. Download both tracks at the top of this post. Preorder the album via Kanine's webstore.
Eternal Summers are playing a number of shows this summer, and have announced a fall US tour with support from their pals Bleeding Rainbow. That tour kicks off on August 31 in Bloomington, IN and visits Schubas on September 1. Tickets go on sale this Friday (7/13) at noon CST. At the tail end of that tour the band will head to Champaign-Urbana to perform at the Pygmalion Music Festival.
