Japandroids @ Metro on 12.13.2012
Japandroids

On Thursday night (12/13) Japandroids toured through Chicago to play a sold-out show at Metro. Their recent tourmates Diiv were supposed to open but dropped off of the Chicago show in order to play Letterman. David Vandervelde, who recently polished off a residency at The Burlington, opened the show instead but we unfortunately missed him. Were you there? How were Japandroids and David?

More pictures and the setlist from the 12/13 show at Metro are below...

Vandervelde's most recent album, Waiting for the Sunrise, arrived in 2008 via Secretly Canadian. Since then he has just been releasing 7" after 7", the latest being titled More Than You Can Feel, which hit stores in 2011. Stay tuned for new releases from the songwriter.
