SBTRKT w/ Sampha @ PS1 Warm Up (more by Vincent Cornelli)

As noted in the original tour announcement and as mentioned by us right before North Coast, SBTRKT is playing a LIVE not DJ Set at the Bottom Lounge on November 4th. His live setup includes a drum set and vocals by Sampha who also sings many of the songs on the self-titled album. Tickets just went on sale.
As the man himself reported yesterday via his Twitter account, SBTRKT has been in the studio recording with Friendly Fires, who he'll be on tour with for much of November in England. Separately, Friendly Fires will hit Chicago's Metro on October 22nd with Theophilus London and Chad Valley. Tickets are still available.
All dates can be found below along with a new video for "Pharaohs," and some footage of his North Coast DJ Set.

Austra @ Empty Bottle (more by Dominick Mastrangelo)

Austra recently visited Chicago to play at the Empty Bottle (as pictured above) the very same weekend that the 2011 Pitchfork Music Festival took place.
They'll return on November 28th with support from backup-singers Tasseomancy, as well as Young Galaxy. Tickets have not been posted as of yet.
Friendly Fires @ Central Park Summerstage (more by Amanda Hatfield)

Friendly Fires have recently announced a fall North American tour, which now includes an October 22nd stop at Metro with support from Theophilus London.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday (8/13), at noon CST.
Nurses

As Andrew Sacher recently mentioned, Nurses have a new album on the way, as well as some 2011 tour dates. Included in that announcement, is an October 22nd stop at Schubas. Tickets have not been posted as of yet.
Star Slinger

Though they canceled a March/April tour, Star Slinger are headed back to the states with just a few announced dates. One of those, is a November 4th performance at Lincoln Hall. Tickets go on sale this Friday (8/12), at noon CST.
Plaid

As mentioned Plaid are releasing a new LP, and heading out an a short tour. They'll make a stop at the Empty Bottle on November 18th. Tickets are on sale now.
The Naked and Famous @ Central Park Summerstage (more by Amanda Hatfield)

The Naked and Famous just played Central Park with Friendly Fires, and will branch off on their own headlining tour come fall. They'll play Metro on October 7th supported by The Chain Gang of 1974, and White Arrows. Tickets go on sale this Saturday (8/13) at noon CST.
Peter Wolf Crier

As previously mentioned, Peter Wolf Crier are set to release their new LP Garden of Arms on September 6th via Jagjaguwar.
In support of the album they'll head out on tour with Milagres, which hits Schubas on September 24th. Tickets are still available.
