Garage rock mainstay King Louie Bankston and his Missing Monuments are set to embark on a Midwest tour later this week. That tour was supposed to include a handful of East Coast dates, but they had to cancel those due to Hurricane Sandy. The Monuments will kick things off in Cleveland, OH on Thursday and will reach Chicago on Friday, November 9 for a performance at the Crown Tap Room. Rainbow Gun Show will act as main support, and tickets will be available at the door.

Chicago garage rock outfit Mannequin Men welcomed their fourth (and first self-titled) LP in the beginning of November via Addenda Records. The band just recently returned home from a month-long string of dates with Cheap Time, and we've fittingly got the album closer "Van" to share with you. Download the track at the top of this post.

As mentioned, Mannequin Men will play a proper record release show at the Hideout this Saturday (12/3). Tickets are still available.

The following night, fellow-Chicagoans Tyler Jon Tyler will play the Empty Bottle with King Louie's Missing Monuments. Rich Crook (Lover!, former-Reatards) will open the show. Tickets are just $3.
