Former Deerhoof/Haunted Graffiti/Natural Dreamers member Chris Cohen welcomed his debut solo album, Overgrown Path, back in September via Captured Tracks. Chris will be embarking on a spring North American tour next month in support of the LP. That tour includes a performance at the Empty Bottle on March 20 with Idiot Glee and Thin Hymns. Advance tickets for the Chicago show are on sale now.

Birthmark - Antibodies LP

Brooklyn songwriter Nate Kinsella, who was once a member of Cap'n Jazz/Joan of Arc/Owls and etc., and has assisted his cousin Mike with his Owen project, released a new album under the moniker Birthmark earlier this year. Antibodies served as his third LP under Birthmark and first for Polyvinyl Records. Download the album tracks "Stuck" and "Shake Hands" at the top of this post and stream Antibodies in its entirety HERE.

Nate will be heading out on tour in support of Antibodies next month, which kicks off with a free show at the Empty Bottle on August 13. Thin Hymns and Mazes will act as main support, and no RSVP is needed.
