Ultraísta @ LA's the Echoplex, October 2012 (more by Debi Del Grande)
As discussed, Ultraísta are currently on tour throughout North America in support of their debut self-titled LP. They've unfortunately had to cancel a couple of shows due to a family emergency, and their performance at Lincoln Hall on January 25 is one of those. All ticket buyers will be contacted by the venue. The group's updated tour schedule can be found at the bottom of this post.

Ultraista in LA in October (more by Debi Del Grande)
Ultraísta, the brainchild of Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, will be touring in support of their self-titled debut LP this January. Direct support on that tour will come from Prefuse 73, and the two groups will be performing at Lincoln Hall on January 25. Tickets go on sale this Friday (11/14) at noon CST.
In related news, Atoms for Peace's Amok is due to hit stores on February 25. You can check out its cover art and tracklist at the bottom of this post. Stay tuned for an A.F.P. tour, but it'll have to be after Nigel returns home from Ultraísta's road test.

Other Lives at Rock Werchter Festival 2012 in Belgium (more by Tim Griffin)
Other Lives are currently on tour in Europe, will make their way to Japan, and after a two month break will be hitting the road throughout North America with Copenhagen's Indians. That tour finishes off in Chicago in early-December, with a show at Schubas on the 7th and Lincoln Hall on the 8th. Tickets for Schubas go on sale this Friday (7/20) at noon CST. Tickets for Lincoln Hall are also going on sale on Friday at noon. Additionally, there's a two-show pass available. Guess when that goes on sale...

In other Other Lives news, their track "Tamer Animals" received the remix treatment from their former tour mate Thom Yorke's project Atoms for Peace. It will be used as the B-side to a new AFP single called "Other Side." Stream the "Tamer Animals" remix at the bottom of this post, alongside the 7"s cover art. The single comes out on limited edition white vinyl on July 30 (sold out) and regular vinyl on August 6 via Modeselektor's Monkeytown label for their 50WEAPONS series. On the topic of Atoms for Peace, which includes Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich as a member, his own band Ultraista have announced that their debut self-titled LP will hit stores on October 2 via Temporary Residence Limited. You can check out its cover art/tracklisting and a video for "Static Light" below. Live dates TBA.
