As mentioned, Smith Westerns have two upcoming Chicago shows. The first is a headlining set at Do312's Winter Escape event on December 2nd at the Hard Rock Hotel. The second, is a big hometown show at Metro with support from 2012 tour mates Porcelain Raft and Bleached. Tickets go on sale this Friday (11/25), at noon CST.

Metronomy have a new remix EP coming out, and a spring North American tour to go along with it. They'll play Lincoln Hall (for the second time) on April 4th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, at noon CST.

Smith Westerns have just announced a short 2012 tour, that frontman Cullen Omori says will be their "last until a new album is written." They'll make a hometown stop at Metro on February 3rd, which is two months after Do312's Winter Escape event which they're also playing. The short February run will feature support from Porcelain Raft and Bleached. Tickets will be posted shortly.

Smith Westerns @ Lollapalooza 2011 (more by Grant MacAllister)

Winter Escape, an annual event thrown by Vitamin Water and Do312 will take place on December 2nd in the Fender Ballroom of the Hard Rock Hotel from 9PM - 2AM.

The lineup features Chicago's own Smith Westerns, along with Franki Chan (who was just here on the Check Yo Ponytail tour), Black Light Saints, Windy City Soul Club, and Kirby Kaiser. The Red Eye's Ernest Wilkins will host.
