As we warned you they would, a very limited amount of Lollapalooza 2013 Souvenir Passes (three days for $75) went on sale late this afternoon and were gone within the blink of an eye. Anybody able to purchase them? Early Bird tickets ($200) will go on sale on Tuesday, March 26 at 10AM CST. Once those sell out, regular passes ($235) will be immediately available.

You already know that Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, The Killers, and Mumford & Sons are confirmed for the festival, and that The National and The Postal Service are likely to be on the bill, but who else would you like to see on there? Let us know.

As discussed, Lollapalooza 2013 is set to take place from August 2-4 in Chicago's Grant Park. While no acts have been revealed yet, MANY are rumored. "Early Bird" three-day passes ($200) for the festival will go on sale next Tuesday (3/26) at 10AM CST. Once those sell out, regular three-day passes ($235) will be immediately available. And as they've done in the past, a secret ticket sale ($75 for a three-day pass!) will be happening sometime this week. We're not quite sure of the date // time of that sale, but last year they sold-out within minutes.

Sigur Ros @ Osheaga Festival 2012 (more by Dominick Mastrangelo)

As discussed, Sigur Ros are touring North America throughout March // April of 2013. That tour includes a Chicago show at the UIC Pavilion on April 2. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Saturday (11/17) at 10AM CST. A Sigur Ros fan presale will be active this morning (Wednesday, November 14) at 10AM CST; the password is brennisteinn. Each ticket comes with a three-song digital EP, one of which is "Brennisteinn," of brand new material! That EP will be made available to ticket holders on March 22, 2013, just in time to drill the new material into your head for the Chicago show. In addition to Sigur Ros' fan presale, there may even be a JAM Productions presale later this week, so stay tuned.

We are aware that a number of fans have been left disappointed by recent ticketing issues surrounding the WXRT 40th Anniversary Concert the band are due to perform at on 16th August [at The Chicago Theatre]. Aside from the fact that demand for this show has far outweighed ticket supply, it has been brought to our attention that large numbers of tickets have appeared for resale via unauthorised outlets. We would like to make absolutely clear that Mumford & Sons and all members of the team, in no way support nor have any links with such extremely unwelcome activity and continue to explore appropriate solutions to this industry-wide issue.

In this instance, our ticket agents have investigated and recalled tickets from all parties whom they suspect of having purchased solely for the purpose of reselling. As a result we can now put back for sale a limited number of tickets for the show. If you do not already have tickets for the show and you'd like to apply for the ticket lottery please click here for further details (deadline 10am local time Friday August 3rd).
