We're excited to announce that we have once again joined forces with Saki Records to bring you a full day of in-store performances on Record Store Day 2013 (Saturday, April 20). For those looking to grab some of RSD's many exclusive releases, Saki will be opening up at 9AM. The first 10-customers of the day will receive a free, Ryan Duggan-designed BV Chicago // Saki tote bag (they will also be for sale). In-store performances will begin at 1PM and continue up until 7PM.

Here's what the day will look like:

3PM The Oarsman

5PM Pink Avalanche
6PM Fake Limbs

CHIRP Radio DJs will be spinning between sets.

And stick around after our full day of in-stores, as local comedians Joe McAdam and Nick Rouley will be bringing their Revolutions Per Minute podcast to Saki. That'll start at 8PM, and their musical guest is Blizzard Babies.

The 10th annual CHIRP Record Fair is slated to take place this weekend, April 14-15 from 10AM-5PM, at the Chicago Journeyman Plumber's Union near Union Park. Participating vendors throughout this weekend include Addenda Records/Plustapes, HoZac Records, The Whistler/Whistler Records, Shimby Presents, Saki, Record Breakers, and more.

There will also be some live entertainment featured at Journeyman:

Admission is just a small cover fee at the door ($7). If you need to have at the fair's selection before anyone else, there is the option to fork over a bit more ($25) for pre-admission from 8-10AM on Saturday only.
