French pop boundary-pusher Héloïse Letissier, aka Christine and the Queens, released her great debut album Chaleur humaine in France in 2014, re-released it in the US as Christine and the Queens with bonus tracks in 2015, and then gave it a UK release in 2016. She has been quiet since 2016 and played almost no shows last year, but towards the end of 2017 she posted that she was in LA finally working on her second album. In a recent interview, Nick Huggett, chief creative officer of Christine and the Queens’ label Because Music UK, revealed that the album is coming out this year and that it “sounds fantastic, it’s got a slightly different feel to it.” Details are still TBA, but in the meantime, she has begun announcing 2018 shows.

She’ll return to NYC on Halloween (10/31) at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets go on sale Monday (3/26), but stay tuned for possible presales to pop up.

UPDATE: There’s a BrooklynVegan presale for the NYC show starting Friday (3/23) at noon. Check back here Friday morning for the password.
