Circle Jerks - Group Sex

Circle Jerks reforming for 40th anniversary of 'Group Sex,' playing Punk Rock Bowling

Punk icons Circle Jerks are reforming for the 40th anniversary of their classic album Group Sex, having announced an appearance at the 2020 edition of Punk Rock Bowling. The lineup for that show includes founding frontman Keith Morris and guitarist Greg Hetson (who was also in Bad Religion for three decades) and longtime bassist Zander Schloss. (No word yet on who’s drumming though.) Punk Rock bowling will be Circle Jerks’ first show in over a decade. In the time since then, Keith has been busy with both OFF! and FLAG.

There will also be a 40th anniversary reissue of Group Sex — stay tuned for more details on that (and hopefully more tour dates), but you can listen to the original album below.

UPDATE: Circle Jerks are also playing three editions of NOFX’s Punk In Drublic festival in 2020.

Punk Rock Bowling’s 2020 lineup also includes Madness, Cock Sparrer, the reunited Lunachicks, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Streetlight Manifesto, Propagandhi, and more.
