City Girls talk being sampled on Drake's new album, share "Sweet Tooth" video
As you’ve probably heard, the new Drake album Scorpion is out now, and one of the highlights is when rising Miami rap duo City Girls‘ “Fuck Dat N****” (which you may know from Quality Control: Control the Streets, Vol. 1) is sampled on “In My Feelings,” the same song Drake shouts out City Girls’ JT and Yung Miami by name. The duo were since interviewed about it by Rap-Up, and said, “How did Drake know us? We just some random hood City Girls. How he heard our music? For him to just follow us, not even knowing he knew our music, it’s like people is really paying attention to us.” You can watch the video of the interview below.
