Clearwater Fest is back in 2017 (Arlo Guthrie, Los Lobos, Richard Thompson, Alejandro Escovedo, more)

Croton, NY’s Clearwater Festival had to take 2016 off due to financial troubles, but it’ll be back in 2017 and the lineup is already looking pretty great. So far, performers include Arlo Guthrie, Los Lobos, Richard Thompson, Josh Ritter, Joan Osborne, Alejandro Escovedo, Tom Paxton & the Don Juans, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, A-wa, Nick Lowe and David Amram. A few others are announced as well, and more are TBA. Check out the lineup, as it currently stands, below.

The 2017 Clearwater Festival happens June 17 & 18 in Croton Point Park, which is walking distance from the Croton-Harmon Metro North station (a 46-minute ride from Grand Central if you catch an express). Tickets are on sale now.

Richard Thompson also plays the Aretha Franklin tribute show at Carnegie Hall, and he’s touring with fellow Jeff Tweedy collaborator Joan Shelley.
