Cloakroom

Cloakroom played Saint Vitus, playing again tonight with special guest(s)

Cloakroom are on tour now supporting their first album for Relapse, Time Well, having played Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus with Jaye Jayle (aka Evan from Young Widows) last night (10/4). Both acts are sticking around to play Vitus again TONIGHT (10/5) and this one includes special guest(s). The only real clue we can find is that Cloakroom tweeted “Apparently some nerd said they’re jamming with one of the largest seafaring birds in the northern hemisphere.” Largest seafaring birds? Hmm, if only there was a band named after a large bird touring with Jaye Jayle and playing NYC later this week…

Any guesses? Tickets are on sale and doors open at 7 PM.

Cloakroom are also one of the many artists to release a Tom Petty cover this week. They put their gloomy, sludgy, shoegazy spin on “You Don’t Know How.” Listen below.

Oh, and this might be another clue about the special guest(s)…
