Industrial vets Clock DVA, whose career dates back to 1978 (Sheffield, England, fertile ground for noisy synths), kicked of their first North American tour in ages at NYC’s Rough Trade on September 22. Still led by Adolphus “Adi” Newton, with a couple newer members, the group mixed old an new material with some pretty cool projections. The night was opened by Uniform, aka ex The Men bassist Ben Greenberg, whose sound owes more than a little to the sounds of 1980 Sheffield. Pics from the Rough Trade show are above.

The group also played Chicago’s Cold Waves fest last weekend.
