Cloud Cult

Cloud Cult performing their score to 'The Seeker' (and fan faves) on tour

Last year, Duluth, Minnesota indie rock veterans Cloud Cult released the album The Seeker and a companion feature full-length film of the same name (starring How I Met Your Mother‘s Josh Radnor). This year, they’ve announced some shows where they will play two sets at each. For the first set, they’ll perform the full score to The Seeker while the movie plays on screen, and they’ll follow it with a set of fan favorites. The Seeker was written by the band and directed by Jeff D. Johnson of Motion 117 Productions, and here’s the synopsis:

[The film] is the story of Grace, a daughter whose idyllic life is turned upside-down by immense tragedy. As she grows older, her cynicism and apathy towards her new reality is challenged by a reminder from the past that sets her on a pilgrimage that will define her.

Their current schedule for this unique tour includes shows in Chicago, Brooklyn, Philly, Boston, and more.

The Brooklyn show happens on June 23 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets go on sale today (4/14) at noon.
