Cloud Nothings will follow 2012’s excellent Attack on Memory with the punkier Here and Nowhere Else on April 1 via Carpark/Mom + Pop. Our first taste of it was the melodic closing track “I’m Not Part of Me,” and now we get another track from it, “Psychic Trauma.” What starts as a mid-tempo alt-rocker turns into punk fury with the monster behind the kit that is Jayson Gerycz going apeshit by the song’s finale. Cloud Nothings will return to NYC when their tour with Ryley Walker hits MHOW on 4/13 and Bowery Ballroom on 4/14. Tickets for both shows are still available.
