Coachella 2018 Weekend 1 - Friday

Coachella 2019 begins today (set times, livestream schedule, conflicts, more)

Coachella begins today (4/12) at noon Pacific time. If you’re there, make sure you check out the set times (as always, there are some tough conflicts), and if even you’re not going, you can stream over 80 sets live from the comfort of your own home. All three headliners (Tame Impala, Ariana Grande, and Childish Gambino) are streaming their sets, as are Weezer, Anderson .Paak, Kacey Musgraves, The 1975, Janelle Monae, Pusha T, Rosalia, The Interrupters, and more. See the full weekend one livestream schedule below. For the first time, weekend two will stream this time too.

You can watch the livestream HERE starting at 7:15 PM Eastern.

Some unfortunate conflicts for anyone going to the fest: The 1975 play at the same time as U.S. Girls on Friday. Tame Impala’s much-anticipated headlining set is probably the place to be (especially with two new songs out), but unfortunately that would mean missing Little Simz who put out the best rap album of 2019 so far. Aphex Twin (who just played his first NYC show since the ’90s) plays a rare set on Saturday, and you’ll have to miss breakout alt-pop singer Billie Eilish to see it. And fans of chilled out indie rock need to choose between Mac DeMarco and Turnover on Saturday. On Sunday, anyone who wants to see Kaytranada will have to miss headliner Ariana Grande, and here’s a real tough one: Bad Bunny, Soccer Mommy, Lizzo, AND Playboi Carti are all on at the same time.

Whether you’ll be at the fest or watching from home, check out lists of 15 lower-poster acts we’re excited for and 10 more artists we’re excited to see.

Since the initial lineup announcement, Solange and Let’s Eat Grandma unfortunately had to drop off. Kanye West (who was initially rumored to headline) will be at weekend two for a Sunday morning service on Easter.

If you’re in the desert this week, you might wanna catch one of the Coachella sideshows too.

Lastly, Coachella is always a place for big surprise guest appearances. Any guesses on who will show up this year?

UPDATES: Cardi B did a surprise performance, Ariana Grande brought out *NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy & Mase, and YG dedicated his set to Nipsey Hussle, brought out 2 Chainz, Big Sean, DJ Mustard & Tyga, confirmed album release date, debuted new song. Also check out video of Aphex Twin‘s set, pictures of Friday, and pictures of Saturday.
