Coachella selling more passes for Weekend 2 (Kanye’s Sunday Service included)

We’re just over a week away from weekend one of the 2019 edition of Coachella. The festival happens at Indio, CA’s Empire Polo Club on the consecutive weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21, and while both presale and general sale tickets have been sold out for a while, Coachella announced they’ll be putting some additional passes for weekend two on sale on Friday April 5 at 3 PM PT.

Kanye West dropped off the Coachella lineup before it was announced, allegedly over disagreements with festival organizers over the stage he’d perform on. However, attendees of weekend two may see some sort of appearance from Kanye, in the form of the “Sunday Service” that’s happening on Easter Sunday morning, April 21. Little information has been made available about what, exactly, it will entail, but Kim Kardashian talked about it in a new interview with Elle:

KIM: I’m really excited for Kanye to perform Coachella. I’ve never been.
ELLE: Never?

KIM: I know! my friends are like, “How…?” But yeah, this will be my first time ever going to Coachella, and I’m so excited to be a part of it for the first time. And [the church], it’s honestly more like a healing experience for my husband. It’s just music; there’s no sermon. It’s definitely something he believes in—Jesus—and there’s a Christian vibe. But there’s no preaching. It’s just a very spiritual Christian experience.
ELLE: Can all faiths participate?

KIM: Absolutely! Kourtney’s best friends comes all the time and they’re Muslim. All my Jewish friends came on Sunday; they loved it. Everyone that comes understands it’s just a really healing experience with an amazing choir, and amazing messages about love to start off your week.
ELLE: Can anyone with a Coachella wristband come to the Easter Sunday service?

KIM: I’m not sure! Everyone’s asking, even my mom. She asked, “How many people can I bring?” I was like, “Mom, I don’t know the set-up; I don’t even know where it’s going to be. I’ve never even been to Coachella—I have no idea. All I know, it’s going to be 9am. I’m sure half the people who come will be up from the night before. But I do hope everyone can experience it—everyone—because it’s going to be really special and so cool.
