CocoRosie

CocoRosie haven’t released a full length album since 2010’s Grey Oceans, but after last year’s “We Are On Fire” b/w “Tearz for Animals” (ft. Antony Hegarty) single, they’re back with a new album, Tales Of A Grass Widow, which is due out on May 28 via CIty Slang. It features “Tearz for Animals,” along with two newer singles, “Gravediggress” and “After the Afterlife,” both of which you can stream below (and download the former above). Like other groups who were once considered “freak folk,” CocoRosie continue to move away from their roots on the new album, which, if the sound of these two singles is any indication, has a pretty strong hip hop/R&B influence. The album art and tracklist are below too.

CocoRosie will be supporting the new album after its release with a European tour, but before it comes out, they’ll play a one-off in NYC to preview the new material on May 10 at The Paper Box. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

All dates are listed, along with the song streams, album art, and tracklist, below…
