Coffins announce tour around Maryland Deathfest; Bell Witch opening some dates
Tokyo death-doomers Coffins released their crushing fifth album, Beyond the Circular Demise, back in September via Relapse, and they’ve announced a US tour supporting it, around their appearance at Maryland Deathfest 2020. They’ll play west coast shows in LA, Oakland, Sacramento, Portland, and Seattle in May with Bell Witch and Aerial Ruin (aka Erik Moggridge, who appears on Bell Witch’s albums) who — like at their previously announced set at Wyoming’s Fire in the Mountains — will open the shows with a new collaborative set. Portland death metal band Petrification is also on those shows.
On the East Coast, Coffins hit Brooklyn and Boston with Ilsa. The Brooklyn date happens at Saint Vitus on May 22 with additional support from Bog Body, and tickets are on sale now.
