Coldplay played Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday (8/6), “riding the razor-thin line between crowd-pleasing showmanship and shameless pandering right down the middle,” according to Jonathan Valania of Philadelphia’s Inquirer.

As in tours past, concertgoers were issued luminescent wristbands that changed colors according to songs. There were also giant balloons, streamers, confetti, fireworks, and more of the spectacle Coldplay fans have come to expect. The crowd of 69,000 ate up the mix of newer songs and old favorites, which they played on three different stages set up on the field, as well as covers of David Bowie’s “Heroes,” and a very site-specific take on Springsteen’s “Streets of Philadelphia.” The full setlist is below.
