BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival began its 2018 season on Tuesday (6/5) with a show from Common, who performed a career-spanning setlist, ranging from some of his more recognizable tracks like “Go!” and “I Used To Love H.E.R.,” to more recent tracks from his latest record Black America Again. While performing “Testify,” he paid tribute to Prince by interpolating a cover of “Darling Nikki,” and later closed the night by performing his Oscar-winning track “Glory” from the Selma soundtrack.
