Complex's 50 Best Albums of 2019 (including Kanye West)
Complex have published their list of the 50 best albums of 2019, and as usual, it’s heaviest on hip hop and hip hop-adjacent albums, and it also squeezes in a few popular indie/alt-pop artists like Vampire Weekend, Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, and Maggie Rogers. It’s also the first list we’ve seen to include the divisive Kanye West album (which just makes the list at #50). As usual, it’s got a wide range of styles represented, from the biggest artists around like Post Malone to underrated greats like Rapsody. And there’s two DaBaby albums in the top 11.
