Conor Oberst streaming new album, playing intimate release show at Rough Trade NYC during tour (updated dates)

Conor w/ Desaparecidos at Voodoo Fest 2013 (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)

Conor Oberst, the brains behind Bright Eyes who also lends his talents to Desaparecidos, Monsters of Folk and others, is back in solo mode this year for his new album, Upside Down Mountain, which comes out next week (5/20) via Nonesuch. Check it out before the official release date by streaming the album in full over at NPR.

We already knew Conor’s tour with Dawes hits the NYC-area on May 22 at The Space at Westbury and July 29 at Central Park Summerstage (not to mention a Cooperstown show with The Baseball Project), and since then Conor added an intimate release show for Upside Down Mountain happening at Rough Trade NYC (5/20) the day of the album’s release. Tickets for that show are $20 at the door. You can still get advance tickets for their other NYC-area shows.

Conor will also be in NYC to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 19.

Updated dates are listed, with a couple streams from the album, below…
