Cough share “Let it Bleed” from new album

Cough - Still They Pray

Cough have already released a couple of stellar new songs from their upcoming, Jus Oborn-produced LP Still They Pray. Now, as the June 3rd release date draws near, they’ve shared another song called “Let it Bleed,” which you can stream below.

This one is a pretty big departure from the other two singles, which trafficked in Electric Wizard-worshipping psychedelic heaviness. It’s got clean vocals and much lighter guitars (for most of the 9-minute run-time). Built around an extremely melodic hook, this is really more of a ballad for these guys, although things certainly take a turn for the groovy towards the end. It’s another sign that this album is shaping up to be an exciting one. You can still pre-order it now.

Cough have a few tour dates coming up, including a record release show in their hometown of Richmond. All dates listed, along with the stream of “Let it Bleed,” below.

Cough — 2016 Tour Dates
Jun 03 Hardywood Park Craft Brewery Richmond, VA
Sep 30 Up In Smoke Festival Pratteln, Switzerland
Oct 14 Desertfest Belgium Antwerp, Belgium
