Courtney Barnett‘s anticipated new album Tell Me How You Really Feel comes out this Friday (5/18), and going by the early singles, it sounds very promising. Her tour hits NYC’s Music Hall of Williamsburg for a sold-out show on Saturday (5/19), but first Courtney celebrates the album with a “special launch party” in lower Manhattan the day the album comes out. The announcement reads, “The event will bring the album to life featuring an interactive exhibition inspired by the theme Tell Me How You Really Feel.” It goes from 6-9 PM and space is limited. RSVP is required by doesn’t guarantee entry, and RSVP closes today.

UPDATE: Adding to our anticipation, BrooklynVegan contributor Ebru Yildiz has shared that she’ll have some polaroid photos in the event, including ones of other current and past BV contributing photographers, like Edwina Hay, Jeanette D. Moses, and Samantha Marble.

Courtney’s tour also returns to NYC for a big Prospect Park (7/25) show in the summer, and that one’s a great double bill with Julien Baker and Vagabon (tickets).

Courtney was also just announced for Treasure Island. Earlier today, Vagabon was announced for Pitchfork’s music and beer festival on Governors Island, OctFest.
