Craig Finn playing NYC album release show after Japandroids tour
Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn releases his new solo album We All Want The Same Things on March 24 via Partisan. He’s currently opening for Japandroids on tour (and already played Chicago and NYC), and has now announced a NYC show release show for the new album. Here are all the details, in Craig’s words:
I’m excited to announce a live show celebrating the release of my new album We All Want The Same Things.
On Tuesday, April 4, at City Winery NYC , I’ll be performing the songs from the album with the players that I made most of the record with – Stuart Bogie, Sam Kassirer, Josh Kaufman, Joe Russo and Jon Shaw. We are calling this The We All Want The Same Things Band.
I’m really excited to play these songs with these guys. It was an incredible experience recording this record, and this will be a very special show.
…In addition to purchasing a ticket, you can also purchase a combination bundle of ticket and signed show poster. The poster is the image attached and if you purchase the bundle, the poster will be waiting for you to collect at the merch booth on April 4.
It’s been terrific being on the road in 2017 – seeing a lot of you on the Living Room Tour and then so many friendly faces on the current tour with Japandroids.
