Cult of Luna announce tour with Emma Ruth Rundle & Intronaut

Long-running post-metal greats Cult of Luna recently released their excellent new album A Dawn To Fear, their first release since their 2016 collaboration with Julie Christmas and first “proper” album in six years, and now the Swedish band have announced a North American tour in support of the album for 2020. It’s got killer support from Emma Ruth Rundle and Intronaut, and it includes Cult of Luna’s first-ever Mexico show.

The tour hits NYC on March 1 at Gramercy Theatre. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (10/4) at 10 AM with Citi/Official Platinum presales starting today (10/2) at 11 AM and more presales on Thursday (10/3). All dates are listed below.

Cult of Luna’s Johannes Persson is also playing two sets at Roadburn 2020, for which Emma Ruth Rundle is one of the curators. He’s doing one collaborative set with Perturbator (the other curator), and another with Julie Christmas and former Kylesa member Laura Pleasants. Emma’s band Red Sparrowes are also reuniting for that fest. More Roadburn info here.

Yesterday, Johannes tackled the As I Lay Dying controversy in a new interview.
