Cursive are gearing up to open Against Me!‘s tour which will see Against Me! playing four albums across two nights in each city, and they’re also playing Chicago’s Riot Fest. On top of all that, they’ve now announced a new headlining tour with killer support from Cloud Nothings and The Appleseed Cast, and new headlining dates happening earlier around Riot Fest and the Against Me! tour.

The new October headlining dates are October 20 at First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, and October 21 at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn (tickets on sale Friday, 7/12, at noon). No openers have been announced for those two. As mentioned, the run with Against Me! hits NJ’s Starland Ballroom on October 18 and 19, also with Dilly Dally on the bill (tickets).

Cursive’s latest album is 2018’s Vitriola. Watch the video for “Pick Up The Pieces” from that album, alongside a list of all tour dates, below.

The Appleseed Cast (who also opened Cursive’s co-headlining tour with mewithoutYou this year) also announced a headlining tour for August/September with Muscle Worship, which follows their July tour with Young Jesus. The tour with Muscle Worship hits Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on September 12 and Jersey City’s Monty Hall on September 13. Tickets for those shows should be on sale soon. All dates are listed below. For Cloud Nothings, this follows the cancellation of their tour with The Get Up Kids, and it will be in continued support of last year’s killer Last Building Burning. They also have a few EU/UK dates this week.

Like both Cursive and Against Me!, The Get Up Kids are playing Riot Fest. They’ve also got a summer tour with Great Grandpa starting tonight (7/10) in Indianapolis and hitting Manhattan, Brooklyn, Asbury Park, and more. They also just put out a new video for “Salina” off their great new album Problems, and in one last bit of Get Up Kids-related news, bassist Rob Pope just left Spoon, who he’s been a member of since 2006 (but he will remain in The Get Up Kids).
