Daddy Long Legs touring for new LP 'Lowdown Ways' (watch "Pink Lemonade" video)

Brooklyn trio Daddy Long Legs have been making scorching, sweaty, stomping, bluesy rock n’ roll since the start of the decade, and over the years have shared bills with The Sonics, Yo La Tengo, Nick Waterhouse, and more. After a few albums for Norton Records, the band signed with Yep Roc who released their latest platter, Lowdown Ways, today. It’s a party of a record and you can stream it below. The new single off the record is “Pink Lemonade,” which frontman Brian Hurd calls a “modern spin on the throbbing hill country blues that’s always been at the heart of our influences.” They’ve just released a fun video for the song which plays off the vibe of the song — it premieres in this post and you can watch below.

Daddy Long Legs will be on a East Coast / Midwest tour this summer, kicking things off in Richmond, VA on June 19 and wrapping up at NYC’s Brooklyn Bazaar on July 14 with Brooklyn Bluebirds (tickets). In between they’ll hit Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Providence, New Haven, and lots more. All dates are listed below.
