Damien Jurado & Nick Thune announce "Sad Music, Sad Comedy" Tour

Musician Damien Jurado and comedian Nick Thune met at a special memorial service for their mutual friend and producer, the late Richard Swift. Both Seattle natives, they bonded further and decided they’d like to collaborate and put on a series of shows at Largo in Los Angeles back in May. Those went well, and they’ve now decided to take the show on the road. They’ve just announced the “Sad Music, Sad Comedy” Tour which kicks off January 15 in Philadelphia and then hits DC, Brooklyn, Boston, Providence, Portland (ME), Burlington, Montreal, Toronto and Cleveland.

The Brooklyn show happens at The Bell House on 1/17. Tickets for the Bell House — and the whole tour — go on sale Friday, October 25 at 10 AM local time.

All dates are listed, along with a stream of Damien’s current album In the Shape of a Storm and some of Thune’s standup clips, below.
