Dan Auerbach of Black Keys’ new band, The Arcs, made their live debut on Wednesday night (9/9) at NYC’s Housing Works Bookstore & Cafe, part of NPR’s First Listen Live series. The band, which includes Richard Swift and a few of the regular Daptone guys, played The Arcs’ soulful debut album in full. Opening was mariachi band Flor de Toloache who also sang backup for The Arcs. Did you manage to get in? Pictures from the night are in this post.

The Arcs will return to NYC to play Bowery Ballroom on September 26. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (9/11) at noon. More pics from The Arcs live debut, below…
