Dan Deacon playing the Museum of Natural History, 285 Kent, Bowery Ballroom & B.O.M.B. Fest

The Vivian Girls show at 285 Kent takes place four days before the space hosts green-skull-wielder Dan Deacon, who’ll join Moss of Aura, Janka Nabay, and Friends (the band called “Friends”). Advance tickets for the May 21st show at 285 Kent Ave are on sale at Desert Island Books (Metropolitan Ave @ Union Ave).

The Brooklyn show is part of a three-night NYC run for Deacon who is also playing the next edition of One Step Beyond at the American Museum of Natural History on May 20th. Tickets are on sale.

May 22nd is when Dan plays Butthole Surfers covers at Bowery Ballroom as part of the sold out This Band Could Be Your Life concert.

Dan Deacon is also on board for the previously-mentioned B.O.M.B. Fest in Hartford, CT on 5/28, with Weezer, Snoop Dogg, New Pornographers, Dum Dum Girls and others.

Speaking of Janka Nabay, he’ll also join The Bubu Gang for a show at Rock Shop on July 1. Tickets are on sale.
