Danny Brown reveals album title, 'Atrocity Exhibition,' touring

After signing to Warp Records and dropping the trippy video for first single “When It Rain”, Danny Brown has now revealed the title of his upcoming follow-up to 2013’s Old. It’s called Atrocity Exhibition. The phrase looks to have been inspired by the grizzly Joy Division track of the same name (which was in turn nicked from J.G. Ballard’s seminal 1970 book of that name). Danny referenced both in a series of social media posts, including lyrics from JD’s 1980 track (see below).

Danny has also announced a string of tour dates for late summer/fall. There’s no NYC show on that run, but he’ll be here much sooner for that Mass Appeal BBQ in Central Park on July 25 with Ty Dolla $ign, Kamaiyah, Wiki, host Nas, and more. Tickets for that show are still available. All dates are listed below.
