'Danzig Does Elvis' LA tickets cost $169
As mentioned, Danzig announced plans to play two Elvis tribute shows in California, and now both of those dates are officially announced:
“DANZIG SINGS ELVIS” LIVE PERFORMANCES
DANZIG will be performing 2 special “DANZIG Sings ELVIS” shows. One in San Francisco on April 17 at Bimbo’s 365 Club. The other will be in Los Angeles on April 22 at the historic Roosevelt Hotel Grand Ballroom. Because DANZIG wanted these to be small special Vegas-Club vibe, tickets are limited, so please, get your tix early if you plan to attend one or both of these special performances!!!
Tickets to both shows go on sale Friday, and apparently the high Misfits reunion ticket prices have gone to Glenn’s head, because the LA show costs $169 a ticket! Okay, I realize these shows are being billed as “intimate,” and maybe this is a realistic price considering supply and demand for these so-far-rare events (better Glenn gets the money than the scalper), but somehow it still doesn’t feel right that this show costs almost as much as the three day Vegas fest where Danzig is playing Lucifuge in full.

In celebration of the long awaited “DANZIG SINGS ELVIS” album GLENN DANZIG will be performing an intimate seated live concert accompanied by pianist and a night club style band at the historic Grand Ballroom in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
The Roosevelt held the very first Academy Awards, housed many icons in the Golden Age of Hollywood and boasts many legends including Marilyn Manroe’s ghost on the 13th floor. Drenched in decadent vintage Hollywood glamour you can see why this event is a once in a lifetime performance. Tickets go one sale Friday, March 7th 10am.
