Darkest Hour announce LP & tour with Ringworm, Tombs, Rotten Sound, Rivers of Nihil
Veteran death metal outfit Darkest Hour are prepping a new, Kurt Ballou-produced album called Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora, due out on March 10 via Southern Lord. In preparation for that release, they’ve announced a big, stacked tour with a bunch of like minded bands.
They’ll hit the road in February with support from Ringworm, Tombs, Rotten Sound and Rivers of Nihil. That bill (minus Tombs, unfortunately) will stop in NYC for a show at Saint Vitus on February 24. Tickets for that show, and for the rest of the tour, are currently on sale via VIP Packages. Regular tickets go on sale this Friday (12/16) via Ticketfly.
Darkest Hour toured and played NYC earlier this year with Gwar and Mutoid Man. Ringworm had a busy year as well, releasing their new album Snake Church and touring behind it. Finnish grinders Rotten Sound released Abuse to Suffer this year and toured behind that. Tombs released a new EP called All Empires Fall and just played Saint Vitus.
